The festive occasions of the Wittelsbach family would never have been the same without exquisite beverages from all over the world. Dry sherries or ports as an aperitif were in as much demand as aromatic liqueurs to partner the sophisticated desserts of the court chef \u2013 and the crowning glory of glamorous dinners has always been exquisite fruit brandies and cognacs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following on from this tradition, the Schloss Kaltenberg Group also grants globally-registered trademark licenses in the segment of top-quality spirits. Our range of fine distillates is produced in close co-operation and co-ordination with selected and quality-conscious licensing partners. Nothing is left to chance in the production of these hand-made artisanal spirits. The Royal House always pays attention to every detail, no matter how small \u2013 from the selection of the recipes, through the methods of distillation and storage, to the packaging design of the spirits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The current ranges include cask-aged fruit brandies under the Prinzregent Luitpold brand, as well as fine Bavarian distillates under the K\u00f6nig Ludwig brand. Other product ranges under development include K\u00f6nig Ludwig Edle Br\u00e4nde and the Royal Selection, a very personal selection of noble spirits from around the world meticulously chosen by Luitpold Prince of Bavaria <\/p>\n\n\n\n
