KÖNIGLICHE PORZELLAN MANUFAKTUR NYMPHENBURG – EXQUISITE CRAFTSMANSHIP SINCE 1747

Nymphenburg is the porcelain factory of the Bavarian royal house. Since its foundation in the year 1747, the noble art of porcelain production has been cultivated in Nymphenburg. The Latin phrase, »Manu Factum« , forms the foundation of the production processes even today – completely made by hand using techniques which have been passed down from generation to generation and which are still very much alive. Only in such a way can the unparalleled elegance, finesse and brilliance of the porcelain on which the international reputation of Nymphenburg is based be guaranteed.

Well-ahead of their time, the craftsmen’s workshops in the factory produce iconic and custom-made porcelain items following four hundred years of tradition. Today, the products are still designed by the most prestigious artists, architects and designers of the time.

The Wittelsbach family has been in charge of the commercial activities of the Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg since 2011.
